The principal variety grown in Cheongdo is a juicy white peach with a good flavor, and high natural sugar content. It improves appetite, and helps in recovering from fatigue. It is also effective as a hangover cure because it contains asparaginic acid. It is abundant in vitamin A and C and also in fiber which prevents constipation, and facilitates urination.
